Immersive Music Concerts For Unbelievable Access
Finding Creative Solutions To Scope Challenges
The immersive concert of Sabrina Carpenter for Meta, came with it's own unique set of challenges. Filmed on a sound stage just after her performance at Coachella, we would need to clean up 40 minutes of immersive video content to remove the backgrounds, clean up lighting and other cameras equipment. Additionally we would need to build full 3D interstitial environments to bridge songs and incorporate the 2D video content Sabrina uses in the show.
Managing the immersive post production team, I first needed to evaluate what was possible to accomplish in the time and budget we had. Coming up with a few creative solutions, I communicated the challenges we were facing with the other departments and stakeholders to build consensus on the best ways forward. Once we arrived at the right path, the team executed on the plan releasing a key piece of content for the Meta Horizons platform.
